Dies ist das klassische Line-up. Peter Criss hat die Band 1980 nach der Veröffentlichung von "Unmasked" verlassen. Am 5. Januar 1996 haben Peter Criss und Ace Frehley ihren Vertag unterzeichnet und sind bei Kiss wieder eingestiegen. Im Oktober 2000 spielte dieses Line-up ihr letztes gemeinsames Konzert. Im Januar 2001 wurde bekannt gegeben, dass Eric Singer Peter Criss für den Rest der Farewell Tour ersetzen wird.
