SHOCK ME: A Tribute to KISS is based out of Virginia Beach,
Virginia. The band was formed in the fall of 2000, although the
concept had been in the discussion stages for several years.
The band is composed of Gin Sing (who plays Gene Simmons), Don E.
Star (who plays Paul Stanley), Steve Jones (who plays Peter
Criss) and Angel Zee (who plays Ace Frehley).
SHOCK ME: A Tribute to KISS has had the distinction of being one
of the first Tribute Bands to be contacted by (and hosted on)
Kiss’s official website (www.kissonline.com).
SHOCK ME: A Tribute To KISS features all of the trademarks one
expects from Kiss: the blood spitting, fire breathing, guitar
smoking, guitar breaking stage antics, along with step by step
duplication of Kiss’.
