Home Bootlegs
Please note, that many (especially earlier pressings of the '70s & '80s) came with an
inlay paper cover, which was just a simple copied sheet of paper. Usually all kind of
different colours of paper was used. Obviously they are not all counted as different
bootlegs. A different bootleg is counted as such, if it is a different pressing of the
vinyl. Old pressings often also have just a white label or something useless written on
it, which may differ from one to another.
Values are stated from min - average - max. Please note, that these are just rough
estimates. Prices on eBay may be totally different.

comment: this is an
impressing Box set, mainly composed by re-releases of previously published Bootlegs. The
first album is a re-edition of "Paul Stanley-Starry eyed". The second album is
almost the same as "Simmons Meteor", just the song "Sword and stone"
has been replaced by "Burn bitch burn". The third record is the LP-version of
parts of the Ace Frehley-concert at the Ritz 1990, which had been previously released on a
double CD called "Back in the New York clubs". And finally, the forth album
contains parts of the Peter Criss concert at the Ritz. The audio from this show has been
taken from an amateur Bootleg video. |

classic "Communication breakdown" |

Album title: Frehley's
Comet-Back in the Groove
catalog number: 2624 of Happy Frog Records
source: L'Amour, New York, NY, USA
date: 9.3.1985
tour: Club Tour 1985
format: 1 LP
cover: printed cover
recording quality: VG audience recording
released: late '80s
value: between $ 40,- and $ 70,-
comment: this is one of the first Ace Frehley solo
concerts after leaving Kiss. About 2 years prioir to any Frehley's Comet shows. At that
time, Richie Scarlet was on lead guitar and vocals, John Regan on bass, David
Letterman-drummer Anton Fig on drums and Arthur Stead on keyboards. |

recording quality: EX+ soundboard recording
released: early '90s
value: between $ 30,- and $ 50,-
comment: the audio is taken from a radio FM broadcast.
Another fantastic record released by the same label who put out "Don't you love it
loud". Like that one, due to the fact, that it is just a single record, the show is
incomplete. |

value: between $ 20,- and $ 40,-
comment: this is the only Bootleg album released with
unreleased material from Vinnie Vincent. Side 1 contains the entire Warrior Demos (Vinnie
Vincents band in 1981). On the rest of the album there are some songs from a Kiss show in
Reno in 1984 from the "Lick it up" tour and the concert of the Vinnie Vincent
Invasion in Fort Wayne in 1986. There are also 3 songs that are supposedly Demos from the
first Invasion album. |
