A.R.I.A. is short for Australian Recording Industy Association. ARIA can be compared to the RIAA. ARIA is for Australia what RIAA is for USA. Awards could, but did not have to have the ARIA logo on them. However, all albums mentioning "Gold" or "Platinum" or mentioning sales numbers are certified Awards. Theses days Gold is for 35.000, Platinum for 70.000 units sold within Australia for albums and 7.500 (Gold) and 15.000 (Platinum) for videos. On the ARIA website it states the following Kiss titles being certified in recent years (since 1997/albums and since 2003/DVDs): Greatest Kiss (Platinum) Second coming (2 X Platinum) Kiss Symphony DVD (Platinum) Rock the Nation (Platinum) It is unknown, which titles had been certiefied prior to this time.
