There are a few new entries in the Fan Page: "Top Fan" Joop from Holland has seen Kiss over 40 times and is the publisher of the "Kiss Kollektor" fanzine. Marcio from Brazil has seen his first Kiss concert in 1983 at the Maracana stadium (yes, the show which was attended by 180.000 others as well, Kiss' biggest concert ever). Also Gordon G.G. Gebert, author of "Kiss & tell" and "Kiss & tell more" has done his contribution.  Jens Otto has sent us a photo of his KISS Tattoo.

NEW TOP FANS

KISS NEWS BECOMES MORE & MORE POPULAR
Kiss News is growing in popularity from day to day. There were over 6.000 pageviews last week alone just after a few months being online, without any main promotion for the website and despite the fact, that  Kiss News is also still not listed in the worlds most popular search machine, YAHOO. This makes Kiss News the most popular KISS website in Europe and probably the third most popular worldwide! Kiss News always puts the latest rumours online, and if you read the older news in the archive you will find out, that the rumours always turn out to be true. Kiss News is an inofficial independend website and is always reporting the latest inside rumors from reliable sources about the band. With 1.500 pages online Kiss News is already the worlds biggest KISS website, although just a small part has been done so far. This website will continue to grow for at least 2 more years. A big  THANK YOU to all the loyal Kiss news readers!

NEWS ABOUT KISS
There is not much News about Kiss at the moment. It is said, that things are continuing to be very chaotic. At the moment it seems that there might be just one more last show. Peter & Ace still have not renewed their contract, and it looks like they won't unless they will become equal partners in the band. This seems to be very much agains the will of Gene Simmons.

There is also no release in sight for "Alive IV". It is said Kiss owe the record company one more album in original line-up. As there won't be any more studio-albums, they will only be able to relaese a live-album. But it is also said, that the Vancouver-show has not been released as "Alive IV" due to last minute financial disagreements between the record company and the band. It is anybodys guess, if or when the album will ever be released.

Gene Simmons has just been in Austin, TX where he was taping his part (he plays a gospel preacher) in a movie called "The new guy".

The Kiss camera still has not been released yet. A possible reason might be, that the deal was only made with Gene Simmons, but without Sony Signatures ( = Signatures Superstars as they are called now), who have the rights for the Kiss merchandise. When they found out about the camera, they were probably not very amused and announced through their official Kiss website Kissonline (which they own), that the Kiss camera will not be coming out. In fact, the camera was produced and does exist (samples were given to the band already some time ago), but they were not released yet probably becasue of the legal problems. All these infos are of course inofficial and not confirmed.

KISS FAN SUES KISS

Kiss got sued by a female fan. Carly Miller from Michigan said she was injured during a Kiss concert in Grand Rapids in early May.
It happened when guitarist Paul Stanley smashed his guitar on stage and threw it into the audience and one string wound up around her middle finger and she got pulled across thwo rows when fans kept on fighting for the collectible piece of broken guitar. There has been no comment from the band or the arena so far.

Finally in stock! The KISS Alive Action Figures arrived! They are absolutely brilliant! The best ones so far without a doubt: KISS in their original Alive!-costumes, and instruments! Each figure also comes with a guitar pick with icon on it and speakers; Gene even comes with the famous 1975 candle holder they had on stage back then! Great packaging as well! Unfortunately the pre-orders can not be shipped out this week, because the suitable packaging material had to be ordered first, which is expected to come in by Friday. NO EUROPEAN KISS TOUR

Paul Stanley filled out a questionaire for the Dutch Kiss fanclub "Kiss Chikara". Paul confirmed, that there will be no European Farewell tour, and that the last Kiss Farewell concert will be mid March. Furthermore Paul said, that the old Kiss videos will also be released on DVD and there will be a Farewell video coming out. He also said he is not interested in doing films at the moment.
