ERIC SINGER REPLACES PETER CRISS
According to Kiss' official website Kissonline, Eric Singer replaces Peter Criss on
the outstanding Farewell shows in Japan and Australia. First it was denied, and now it is
official. What's going to happen? Will Eric really replace Peter? With make-up? How many
fans will return their tickets or even sue the promoter? Are the shows going to happen at
all? What do you think will happen? Vote here. See
results here.

PETER CRISS OUT OF KISS?
It seems like a neverending story... As
reported on KISS NEWS a while back, Ace Frehley has signed his contract with the band and
will take part on the Japanese and Australian Tours. Peter supposedly has been offered
less money than Ace and still has not signed his contract. Peter Criss had been told
before, that he would be replaced by Eric Singer, if he does not sign his contract.
According to Eddie Trunks website http://www.eddietrunk.com/news/articles/122.shtml
, the rehearsals with Eric Singer are scheduled to begin mid February. In fact, Eric
Singer went to Japan last week (where he was Special Guest on a KISS Expo) and is
returning to the States these coming days. It is also said, that Eric will be playing with
Alice Cooper in Australia just a few days after KISS have toured Downunder. All KISS shows
have only been announced as Farewell concerts by the promoter, but not by the band. We
probalby won't know who will be finally sitting behind the drumkit before the first show
in Japan...

CLOWN WHITE NEWS
(from Deno Tofalos)
OK KISS fans! We
want to hear what you've got to say about KISS or anything KISS related. Why not put pen
to paper and write about absolutely 'anything' you want. E-mail your stories (up to 2,000
words) to deno@dct-designs.co.uk and we'll
publish the best in issue 6 of the magazine (both fiction or non-fiction).
Bottom line? Be different - shock me - shock the readers - go out on a limb and make sure
we have no choice but to print your story - you'll be the one taking FULL credit for it.
Don't worry about the artwork (unless you've got any pictures you want to go with it) - we
have some of the very best designs and layouts to make this next issue something rather
special! And adding extra pages means we've also more space. The magazine will be out late
March/early April and we want to make this our finest issue EVER! So get your thinking
caps on - get your spell checkers ready - and let the KISS ARMY know what you think!!!

LAST SHOW NOT AT THE GARDEN?
It's no sectret, that KISS would like to
end their Farewell tour with a series of dates at New Yorks Madison Square Garden. In fact
those would have to take place before mid May, before Ace's just recently renewed contrcat
with Kiss is running out. But it looks like this won't be possible since the venue is
booked already far in advance for other events. It seems that the band will either have to
look for another venue or to extend one more time the contract with Ace. An European tour
seems to be more unlikely than ever before. Peter is expected to be signed again any day
now.
