ACE ON THE COVER OF GAME STAR MAGAZINE

Ace is on the cover of the Czech "Game Star" magazine (8/2000). Kiss are inside, 4 pages in Czech about the game and the group. And two CDs with some demos incl. Kiss - The Nightmare Child.

KISS TO PLAY 5 SHOWS IN JAPAN IN NOVEMBER

Kiss will come to Japan for about 10 days. Nothing is confirmed yet, but they will play in Osaka (2 shows), Hiroshima, Nagoya and Tokyo. Tickets will be available soon. As soon as dates and venues get confirmed, you will be able to find out right here in the News.

UNPUBLISHED KISS SONGS NOW ONLINE
Two acetate test pressings from some unreleased Demos from Gene Simmons were recently sold at the KISS-auction. For one of the records $ 1.600,- were paid! Here you can listen to 30 second samples of these songs. Titles of these songs are: Stanley the Parrot, Leeta, Rotten to the core, Daily Planet, Burning up with fever, High and low, Jelly Roll. Very amusing to listen to these songs...

KISS IN "MILLENIUM" ON FRENCH TV

This short message to tell to all the people who can receive the French
channel FRANCE 2 on their TV set that there is something interesting on
Monday August 28,2000 , at 11.15 PM (Paris time) ! There is indeed an
episode of the US serial called "Millenium" featuring the Hottest Band in
the World ....KISS ! Here is  the summary  of that episode as it is written
(in French) in my TV guide: "Un réalisateur, Lew Caroll et un actrice, Marta
Dunbury, sont poignardés dans leur chambre d'hôtel. Frank et Emma sont
envoyés sur place pour enquêter. Dans la chambre, Frank a des flashs du
groupe KISS." And there's a small picture of KISS on stage, just below the
summary...

NO SHOW AT THE GARDEN THIS YEAR!?
While KISS continue their US-tour, it seems the tour won't be ending before the end of this year. They just added some more shows up until October 7, 2000 (check out Pollstar for details about tour-dates). The current Farewell tour is on the best way to become this years most successfull tour again, possibly even grossing more than the Reunion-tour did. The band is also doing very well with the tour-merchandise making over $ 20,- per head at the US-shows. In other words,  Kiss will stay on the road as long as possible and the tour will last most likely until next year.

ALIVE IV TO BE RECORDED AT THE GARDEN...
As we all noticed, there was no "Alive IV". Latest insider information says the live-album will be recorded at Madison Square Garden early next year at the bands "last ever" show after their Japanese and Australian tour.

KISS TO PLAY JAPAN & AUSTRALIA
Kiss dates for Japan and Australia should be announced very soon. As we all know, Kiss change their plans almost daily, but the Japanese and Australian tour should be now on for sure, and it is just rather a question of when (and not if)  they will play there. The exact dates will depand on when KISS will finish their US-tour. Kiss should also play a New Years Eve Millenium show, and right now it seems this will take place in Australia. All this information is inofficial and not confirmed (yet).

KISS TO PLAY EUROPE?
It is still uncertain, if the band will come over to Europe at the moment. If they will be touring Europe, it will be early next year. Problem seems to be the bad exchange rate. If Kiss will come over, they won't be making a lot of money because the low value of the Euro.

DETROIT ROCK CITY MOVIE SOON ON DVD IN HOLLAND

magazine is jampacked with lots of KISS photos, news, stories, contests,

ACE ALMOST MISSED A SHOW!
According to "Metal Edge" Ace almost missed a show recently. Ace flew home during some days off and missed several flights back. He arrived just about an hour before showtime after he got flown in by a helicopter. Ace will have to pay for the helicopter out of his own pocket... read the full story here.

It seems that SWEET PAIN ,  the dutch kiss coverband are gonna be featured on a brandnew US- tribute CD called "A KISS TRIBUTE". At this moment contracts will be signed and SWEET PAIN will contribute "UNHOLY" from their not yet released album "KISS 'EM ALL". Release date: "KISS 'EM ALL" (September 2000)

PSYCHO CIRCUS PC GAME
The new KISS Psycho Circus PC Game has been released in Germany with all 4 members on the front of the box and the German KISS-logo. The game is completely in German (German language, CD-Rom and description). It is now available here in the Fan Shop. A lot of German PC magazines have major features about the game in their latest issues: PC Action (8/2000): 4 pages; Game Star (9/2000): 2 pages; PC Player (9/2000): 4 pages; PC Games (9/2000): 2 pages + 2 pages advert for the game; PC Heft & Spiel (9/2000): 2 pages.
